An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Optical Advisor to join a well-established independent optical practice in Kent.
This practice has built an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding patient care and operates a busy specialist clinic environment, supporting a large and loyal patient base. The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team where customer service and patient experience are at the heart of everything they do.
The Opportunity
This role would suit an Optical Advisor or Optical Assistant with previous optical experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional independent practice.
Working closely with the clinical team, you will play an important role in supporting patients throughout their optical journey, from initial enquiries through to frame selection, dispensing support and aftercare.

The Role
Providing exceptional customer service and patient care
Supporting patients with frame selection and product recommendations
Assisting with spectacle collections, adjustments and aftercare
Managing appointments and patient enquiries
Supporting the day-to-day running of the practice
Working closely with Optometrists and Dispensing staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
The Ideal Candidate
Previous optical experience is essential
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional and patient-focused approach
Confident working within a busy practice environment
Able to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues
Enthusiastic, reliable and keen to develop within optics
