The Opportunity
Flame Health Optometry is currently looking to recruit an Optical Assistant in the South East London area on behalf of a well-established independent client with multiple branches across Greater London, Surrey, and Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and patient-focused business offering both Optometry and Audiology services within a friendly and professional environment.
About the Client
Our client has built a strong reputation for delivering excellent customer care and always putting the patient first. They support a varied patient base and have a particular focus on children’s eye care, alongside enhanced services including Myopia Management.
With continued growth, they are now looking to add an experienced Optical Assistant to their team.
The Role
This full-time position will involve working across two practices located in Sydenham and Crystal Palace.
The successful candidate will be confident working independently while delivering a high standard of service to patients and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practices.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this Optical Assistant vacancy, you will ideally have:
Around 2–3 years’ experience within an Optical Assistant role
Strong customer service and communication skills
Confidence working independently
Experience supporting dispensing and practice operations
A professional and patient-focused approach
Flexibility to work across two local practice locations
