The Role
As an Optical Assistant, you will play an important role within the team, ensuring patients receive a professional, friendly, and efficient service at all times. You will work closely with Optometrists and colleagues to deliver a seamless patient journey from initial enquiry through to dispensing and aftercare.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with dispensing and frame selection, advising patients on suitable optical products, booking and managing appointments, meeting and greeting patients, taking measurements and carrying out adjustments, and supporting the day-to-day running of the practice while maintaining consistently high levels of customer service.

Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need previous experience working as an Optical Assistant. You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a professional and patient-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Flexibility to work Saturdays as part of the rota is required.
