Our Client, a leading clinical research organisation based in Nottingham are currently recruiting for a Lead Research Nurse. Working with healthy volunteers and patient groups to deliver high quality study data whilst ensuring volunteer safety, health and wellbeing at all times. This is a fantastic route into the clinical research industry, or for those looking to develop their clinical research career further.
In the role as Lead Research Nurse you will manage a team of Research Nurses, Scientists and Technicians to ensure the smooth delivery of clinical studies. This will require you to coordinate the clinical team to maximise operational efficiency. This opportunity is a fantastic route for an experienced nurse into the clinical research industry, or for those looking to develop their clinical research career further.
Our Research Nurses must have full RGN registration and at least 2 to 3 years’ post registration experience, preferably in an acute setting. Previous experience in a research environment and in a supervisory role is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided by the company.
The ideal candidate will have previous work experience, a degree and excellent written and spoken English. Strong IT and communication skills are also essential. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
This position involves shift and weekend work.
