Salary: £31,000
Hours: 35 hours per week, including Saturdays. Opening hours 9-5 (closed for lunch 1-2).
Annual leave: 5 weeks (accrual of more possible over time)
Sick pay: 4 weeks

Closed between Christmas and New Year

Our client, a well-established independent optician with multiple branches throughout the area, is seeking a Dispensing Optician Manager to lead their single consulting room practice in a bustling market town in North East Essex.

About the Practice: This practice offers a relaxed, patient-focused environment, with 50-minute testing times to ensure the highest quality of care. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with their patients. The practice also offers a wide selection of frames, catering to a variety of styles and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop the branch, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Provide exceptional customer care, assisting patients with frame and lens choices.
• Oversee stock management, including the selection and display of frames.
• Support clinical staff to ensure a high standard of patient care.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and the local community.
• Drive growth and success through excellent service and attention to detail.
