Independent Prescribing Pharmacist - North & South Tyneside
Flame Health Pharmacy are looking for Independent Prescribing Pharmacists to work within our clients expanding medicines management team across the Newcastle, North Tyneside, South Tyneside and surrounding areas.
Our client delivers pharmacist services to CCGs and GP practices within the North East, especially and they have a strong working relationship with GP Federations and will be working closely with them to continue to expand the role of the pharmacist.
Their range of services includes:-

• Acute medication requests - assessment of suitability of request.
•  Hospital discharge letters and outpatient letters.
• Repeat medication re-authorisation and issue.
• Set up and manage monitored dosage systems requests.
•  Medication review clinics, including home visits
•  Long term condition clinics

We are looking to recruit staff with good communication and interpersonal skills, to work alongside our diverse, experienced teams in the North East. You will be expected to work autonomously but also as part of the team.
Their aim is to provide an excellent standard of clinical services in all sectors of primary care whilst supporting personal and professional development, with a competitive level of remuneration. You must have a full driving license to travel around the areas.
