Flame Health have a rare and exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse to join a leading company, working across the UK.
The Successful Occupational Health Nurse will help to support the HR function in absence management and healthy returns to work for internal colleagues across the business.
Your experience within Occupational Health Nursing will help ensure a healthy working environment for the colleagues and make sure this is maintained, complying with both legislation and the department’s Key Performance Areas as appropriate. You will be responsible for maintaining a sickness absence case load and providing advice and guidance to management to improve the understanding between the interface of work and health, liaising with third party agencies on health issues and providing counselling support on lifestyle and behaviour, post trauma issues and of course adhering to company policies and procedures.
To be considered for this role you must have:

• A qualification in general nursing and ideally have a specialist qualification in Occupational Health Nursing
• Have current experience of working as an Occupational Health Nurse
• Knowledge of current health and safety legislation
• Be able to work on own initiative and work within a large area
• Knowledge of large Multisite operations desirable
