My Flame Health Monthly Update – November

It’s certainly starting to feel like winter here in Nottingham, and Christmas lights going up around the city centre are signalling the beginning of the festive season! It looks like the success achieved at Flame Health throughout 2014 so far is going to continue into last quarter of the year…
October was a very successful month for the GP and Nursing team, with placements made in all areas. We also have new vacancies available for GPs in Kent, South London and across the South Coast; if you are a General Practitioner in these areas, or you would consider relocating, contact us today as excellent relocation packages could be on offer for the right candidates. We have managed to progress GPs in Kent, Manchester, Nottingham and Sheffield to interview stage, along with a rare Emergency Nurse Practitioner for an urgent health centre in Berkshire; hopefully these will result in some more successful appointments.
On the Dentistry side of the business, some of the candidates we are currently searching for include a Private Dentist in Nottingham for a high grossing position, a dual-site Dental Practice Manager in Kent and a Dentist with GMC registration as an Anaesthetist in Glasgow. For the Flame Health Pharmacy team, October has seen new vacancies flood in yet again, with two brand new Pharmacy Support roles becoming available at a Learning Pharmacy to complete their team. We also made some excellent placements in October, including an Asda Pharmacy Manager in London. October was yet another brilliant month for the Optometry team! We made some key placements within our PSL’s and also had six new independent businesses placing vacancies with us, which is fantastic! We hope to find them the perfect candidates over the coming weeks. The team has also have celebrated the promotion of our newest addition Katie, who has performed so well over the last quarter reaching her targets and becoming a Junior Partner – congratulations Katie!
The month of October within Optical Sales, and indeed Healthcare Sales en masse, proved to be very positive. We attained a number of excellent vacancies across Optical Lens Sales, Hospital Sales and Ophthalmic/Pharmaceutical Sales. There was an evident increase in activity in respect of new candidate applications, in many cases resulting in the candidates being shortlisted and interviews being booked which is great news. It is always encouraging to see new candidates and clients joining our database. October has been a busy month for the Flame Care team! We made four fantastic placements within two new sectors – a Dietician within a mental health hospital , a Head Teacher for the SEN sector, a Head of Care and a Social Care Quality Advisor also within the Special Educational Needs sector. We are currently working with two national clients in recruiting for a number of different positions, and as a result we are looking to speak to all Deputy Head Teachers, Head Teachers, Principals and Registered Children’s Home Managers.
