Salary up to £34,000 p.a.
Flame Care are currently working alongside a national client in the recruitment of an experienced Social Worker.
This is to join an independent hospital, specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems including addictions and eating disorders. 
The large hospital has an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care for people suffering from mild to moderate mental health issues, such as stress and anxiety, as well as providing a range of outpatient based therapy services such as individual and group based CBT. The hospital also caters for people requiring inpatient care for more severe psychiatric illness such as depression, addictions, psychotic illness, a personality disorder or an eating disorder.
Ideal Candidate:

  • Post qualification experience (CQSW Dip.SW or equivalent)
  • Professional registration with the GSCC or equivalent
  • Experience of strategic management within a mental health service
  • Must have a willingness and enthusiasm for setting up this new social worker post, and therefore have a strong understanding of the requirements of a social worker in a hospital setting
  • A high standard of ethical practice is required, with a proven ability to engage with service users and work as an influential member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Essential requirements are a good understanding of the needs of the patient group, anti discriminatory/oppressive practice, safe guarding issues, and possession of well developed skills in assessment and risk evaluation
  • Will be working as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, provision of reports, liaison with relatives and external agencies
