Excellent salary up to £65,000 p.a.

We are looking to recruit a Hospital Director for an independent, purpose built hospital based in Surrey. This service provides care & rehabilitation to a diverse group of male patients with complex forensic histories. The sister hospital which is close by provides a step-down facility. 

As the Hospital Director you will have previous experience within the healthcare profession and of leading a hospital. You will have the overall leadership and management responsibility for the multi-disciplinary teams across both sites. You will ensure the delivery of excellent operational performance, whilst continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers. 

Ideal candidate: 

• Must have either a senior nursing or clinical background
• A proven track record of general management in either the public or private sector
• You must be able to demonstrate working at a senior level within a highly specialised or unique discipline where you have informed strategy
• An understanding of mental health issues and a passion for improving clinical quality and patient care
• Must be able to demonstrate project management skills and experience in leading and managing change
• Previous track record of successful service delivery, people management, budget control, business development and revenue generation
