My Flame Health Monthly Update – March

February has proven to be another successful (and fast!) month for the Flame Health Optometry team. We have primarily been focusing on the Practice Sales side of the business this month, and we are pleased to announce that another success story in this area is due to come into fruition in the coming weeks. As we know, the Optometry market is ever changing, and we have recently acquired some exciting new opportunities from our key clients, which will inevitably be very beneficial to this department. We are coming to the end of an extremely successful financial year for the Optometry team, and we are very much looking forward to the next!
In the Dentistry Practice Sales area of the business, we have finally received clarification from the CQC regarding the application process and we are now nearing completion on several practices, six months on from offers being agreed. As part of our service in this area, we provide employers with the appropriate documentation required for CQC record files in all of our recruitment processes; this is an area which the CQC are currently inspecting thoroughly. We also have a new dental practice for sale in Lincolnshire, which would be perfect for somebody seeking a quality two surgery practice; contact us for more information.
We have continued to make successful placements for GPs, Associate Dentists, Nurse Practitioners and Practice Managers (Dental and GP) this month. We are always keen to speak with any Locum GPs across the country as we have many options available in this area at present. Flame Health Cosmetic Surgery have been very busy this month with new roles in London, Scotland, Reading and Nottinghamshire, as well as other areas, for positions such as Regional Managers, Clinic Managers, Scrub Nurses, Theatre Nurses, Health Care Assistants and lots more! This is an area which is booming at the moment, with plenty of roles coming in, so if you have the relevant qualifications, take this opportunity to join an exciting and expanding industry.
Flame Health Pharmacy are beginning to see an increase in new positions, with Pharmacy Manager roles now available in beautiful and desirable areas of the country such as Cornwall and Dorset. Flame Care have had another busy month in February, with a number of positions being called into us from our national clients. We have successfully placed three candidates into a national client and an independent care home provider this month, which is brilliant news. We are currently working alongside a national client in the recruitment of qualified Nurses, Lead Nurses, Charge Nurses, Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners, Clinical Service Managers, Service Managers, Registered Managers, Occupational Therapists, Deputy Hospital Directors, as well as CBT therapists, Clinical Psychologists and Consultant Psychiatrists across the UK. These positions are to work within a range a different settings from low and medium secure hospitals, to neurological care centres, Residential Children’s Homes and Care and Nursing homes. Despite being the shortest month in the calendar year, February has also been positive for Flame Health Optical Sales. We have taken on some excellent vacancies within the ancillary side of the optical sector and made a significant placement in the last day of the month with a key client of ours. The momentum in this month suggests that more success is on its way!
Within Flame Vets, we have seen a steady increase of Vet Nurse and Vet Surgeon vacancies, a higher volume of candidates and a brand new client all in one month. We are very pleased with the progress made in the early part of the year, which suggests the next couple of months will be very interesting.
