Flame Health’s Optometry division are recruiting for an ambitious and self-motivated Optometrist who is being sought in the St Albans area to join a small Independent practice.

This is a very unique opportunity as the Director is moving out of the practice to set up a new company which will be supplying a unique modular spectacle system for the poor globally and initially to South Africa.

We are therefore looking for an Optometrist to evolve the business and to take over the running of it in time. You will also be offered the opportunity to travel abroad and perform field trials in different countries.

The practice itself has been an optician for over 50 years but has been modernised and all the latest advanced technology. A fully computerised practice, they offer SMS and email confirmation and reminder services for appointments.

To be considered for the opportunity you will need to be registered with the GOC and have previous optical experience.
