Visiting Your Dentist May Cut The Risk Of A Stroke
Research suggests that having your teeth scaled once a year can reduce your risk of developing atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat), which is a major stroke risk factor.
The results, which were published in the International Journal of Cardiology, revealed that patients who visited the dentist for scaling at least once a year were a third less likely to have an abnormal heartbeat.
Flame Health Dentistry say - don't put off visiting your dentist! It may be beneficial in more ways than you think!
