Can a dentist help a smoker to quit?
In the past 35 years the number of people who have stopped smoking has dropped dramatically. However there is still 20% of the population still struggling to quit. These statistics have come from the General Household Survey and the General Lifestyle Survey.
It has been brought to a dentists attention that they need to help patients quit. Flame Health are keen to hear from Dentists. Do you regularly encourage patients to quit smoking? It was No Smoking Day on 14th March. Did you hold any campaigns to help your patients? Please let us know!
