Should Pharmacists do more to improve the health and wellbeing of the public?
Are you a Pharmacist or a Pharmacy Manager? Flame Health are keen to hear your thoughts on Health Secretary Andrew Lansley’s comments from this week.
He has commented that pharmacies already play an important part in the public health agenda but called for pharmacies and other organisations to help the Government’s long term strategy and ‘rise to the challenge’ of improving the public’s health and wellbeing.
Andrew Lansley mentioned that "If we collectively rise to the challenge, we can create an environment that helps people make informed, balanced choices about their health and reduce the burden of obesity."
As a Pharmacist or a Pharmacy Manager do you agree with the Health Secretary’s comments? He has asked for support from pharmacies, do you feel this is right? Please let Flame Health know your thoughts.
