Optometry News – Voice of Optometry: putting the profession in the spotlight

February marks the launch of the AOP’s first Voice of Optometry insight survey of 2023. The surveys of AOP members support the external affairs work of the association on issues affecting optometry.

Serena Box, PR and media manager of the AOP, said: “The AOP will be putting eye health and the role of optometrists further in the spotlight this year by using the survey findings to generate high profile media coverage.” Members are also encouraged to share their experiences and patient stories.

Previous survey findings have secured national broadcast and print coverage in outlets such as Channel 4, Radio 4, The Times, Daily Telegraph as well as influential trade press, such as the Health Service Journal.
