Due to company growth, Flame Health Optometry’s division are currently recruiting for a clinically focused qualified Optometrist to join a dynamic, innovative UK based healthcare company who work in partnership with the NHS to deliver specialist clinical eye care services.
Our client are a rapidly growing company who operate from a number of services across the UK including mobile, community and NHS trust sites. An opportunity has been made available for an Optometrist to work in the Hull area. Seeing your first patient at 8:45am, you can usually expect to see between 22-32 per day.
The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering consistently high standards of specialist optometric diagnostic tests using complex equipment. As an Optometrist you will be working within Glaucoma monitoring services, you will be responsible for delivering specialist eye care services safely and effectively, you will provide the primary clinical review and diagnosis for patients seen within the clinic and recommend an appropriate course of treatment based on best practice.
If you enjoy working with a small team to deliver high quality patient care smoothly and efficiently, we would be delighted to hear from you. Clinical experience is preferred, however training will be provided.
Salaries are competitive, and are commensurate with skills and experience. On offer is a competitive basic salary of up to £60,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) plus a benefits package including:

We are looking for a qualified Optometrist with strong Glaucoma experience who is competent in Goldman Tonometry. Previous hospital experience and EOS accreditation would be ideal however is not essential. Some flexibility in regards to travel will also be expected.
