Flame Health are currently working with a very popular healthcare company to recruit a Local Medical Director who will be providing innovative primary care services across Urgent care, Gp surgeries and walk in centres.
The aim is to provide smarter healthcare across the board and to support the clinicians to spend more time caring for their patients.
As the Local Clinical Director you will spend around 3-4 days per week in practice caring for patients and 1-2 days with Clinical Leads and Operations Managers at up to 5 sites in your area. As well as providing strong clinical leadership and governance, you will help to develop innovative services, deliver clinical excellence, and get the best out of your teams.
This role would suit an ambitious GP with clinical leadership experience gained in modern primary care, you should have a good understanding of medical management and clinical assessment. Passionate about driving improvements and delivering patient focused care, you should also be commercially astute, a confident communicator and a relationship builder who can drive change and bring new ideas to life.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Be an experienced GP
- Have excellent clinical leadership experience
- Been employed at Clinical Director level, working in the local medical community and registered with GMC or qualified doctor employed in medical management
- Sound knowledge of clinical governance and effective systems of medical management suchas job planning, appraisal and clinical assessment
