Flame Health Optical Sales are looking for Business Development Managers for our client who is a company that operates six private eye hospitals across the UK, as well as locations in Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland. We currently have positions in Surrey, London and Birmingham.

You be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets for the hospital. The role will involve working closely with Optometrists and GPs in the area to build new and strengthen existing relationships and in doing so, increase the level of enquiries and referrals for both refractive and general eye conditions. The job holder will be an important ambassador for the company, responsible for positioning the company’s brand and services with a number of key channels.

In summary, the job holder is expected to:

• Increase the number of referrals received from professional partners in both the NHS and private sectors in line with hospital targets
• Develop and extend the professional partner programme, where appropriate and agreed with the hospital Director
• Seek new opportunities/channels to market and develop these as appropriate
• Support the development of strategic partnerships e.g. Specsavers
