ANPAdvanced Nurse Practitioner Job - Coventry, Warwickshire
Flame Health are looking for Advanced Nurse Practitioners to join our clients team in Coventry at their Walk-in-Centre for either full or part time contracts.

 
You will provide advanced levels of autonomous nursing practices to assess, investigate, diagnose, treat and refer walk in patients within set guidelines as part of a multi-discipline team that includes GP’s, HCA’s and a Dressings Nurse.
Situated within a modern health centre our client supports a wide variety of patients meaning no two days will ever be the same. With an onsite service management team they will leave you to do what you do best which is caring for your patients; ensuring you fully utilise your advanced nursing skills.
In this role you will provide full cycle patient care by:

  • Assessing, stabilizing, treating and managing patients
  • Independently and autonomously assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment/interventions and care for patients with attention to physical, emotional, social, cultural and mental health issues
  • Be responsible for the administration and supply of medication to patients to set criteria
  • Providing support such as advice, guidance and training on professional nursing issues, and taking part in clinical governance activities
  • Work in a collaborative manner with others to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in the use of reflective practice, nursing research, audit and clinical supervision

Desired Skills and Experience

The qualities we are looking for in Advanced Nurse Practitioner applicants are:

  • First level Registered Nurse MSC or equivalent
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification
  • Independent nurse prescriber qualification
  • Experience working autonomously diagnosing and treating patients
  • Clinical experience in a walk-in style / A&E environment
  • Teaching and assessing experience/qualification (minimum ENB 998 or equivalent)
  • Accredited training in Advanced Clinical practice skills including the management of patients with long term conditions and complex needs
  • Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
