Senior Physiotherapist – Chertsey

Flame Health are currently recruiting for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our client who is committed to serving the community in the Surrey area.  They aim to make their services exemplary in both clinical and operational aspects.  They will show leadership in identifying healthcare needs to which we can respond and in determining the most cost-effective way of doing so.
Our client are looking to recruit a competent candidate that supports in maintaining and extending their skills in accordance with the needs of the people our client serve.  You will recognise the commitment from their staff to meeting the needs of the patients.
Main responsibilities:

• To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary Rapid Response team
• To undertake advanced assessments, clinical diagnosis and treatment of patients within speciality to include multi-factorial falls assessments and telephone triage, to patients who may require crisis management and or rehabilitation interventions to prevent acute hospital admissions and support complex discharges
• To work as an autonomous practitioner to undertake a significant specialist clinical caseload, working without direct supervision
• To take a role in supervision and teaching of all clinical staff to include nurses and occupational therapists within this generic clinical speciality
• To demonstrate leadership skills and contribute to service development and monitoring of standards of practice and developing multidisciplinary management of patients

It is essential that for this position you are a qualified Physiotherapist and registered with the HCPC.
