Flame Care are currently working with an expanding domiciliary care business who are one of the country’s leading providers of home sight tests to individuals in their own homes, residential and nursing homes.
We are currently looking to recruit a Scheduler / Care Co-Ordinator (Admin Assistant) to join this new venture catering for clients between Portsmouth and Folkestone. This will be to ensure that this business runs like clockwork behind the scenes.
Duties:
- Booking optical appointments for housebound customers from inbound calls
- Making outbound calls to existing customers to book eye tests for their residents
- Updating and maintaining a customer database
- Contacting prospect Care homes/Home visit customers and updating the database accordingly
- Scheduling appointments in a logical manner
- Completing NHS forms and general administrative duties
Ideal candidate:
- Experience within a domiciliary environment is essential
- Experience within optometry is desirable but training will be provided
- Must be organised and methodical
- You will possess excellent customer service and customer admin skills
- Be confident and have a courteous telephone manner
- Be proactive in contacting customers and clients
Part time or full time hours available and flexibility for location as well. This position is either homebased with travelling required or based within Worthing.
