Flame Health’s Optometry division are working on behalf of this client who is Europe’s leading online prescription glasses retailer. They are looking for an FBDO qualified Dispensing Optician to join their team in Wiltshire.

The Role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager (who is a Dispensing Optician), you will join a team of 3 Optical Assistants. The main part of your job will be rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in as a team member taking customer orders over the telephone, providing optical information, answering emails and processing orders. They run an efficient ship and expect a high degree of productivity from all members of the team. Multi tasking skills are essential!
In addition, your role will involve coaching, training and supporting the team from a technical optical point of view. You will be involved in overseeing all orders to ensure they comply with the company’s strict practice standards.
The role is based over 37.5 hours a week, and is Monday to Friday. No weekends!
Requirements and Qualifications

• GOC registered (this is essential)
• To get through the work, you must be extremely organised and able to multi-task
• Good telephone manner
• Natural sales ability
• Team player
