The person appointed will be band 6 equivalent and preferably, have elective orthopaedic experience.
Essential:
- Minimum of 2 years post qualification Physiotherapy experience (on ward experience is desirable)
- A qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy
- Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC)
As an Inpatient Physiotherapist you will be expected to liaise closely and work with the wider MDT to facilitate the swift and safe discharge of patients from hospital. These patients are predominantly elective orthopaedic. You will be expected to maintain good channels of communication with your team, consultants, patients and their relatives as well as providing adequate handover information to the ward physiotherapists at weekends.
This is a full-time, permanent contract. You will be well supported in your continuing professional development with workplace specific training, weekly CPD activities, CPD allowance, and study leave.
