Salary up to £58,000 p.a.
Flame Health is looking for a Clinical Services Manager in central London on behalf of a key client who operates six private eye hospitals in the UK as well as locations in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic.

They achieve this by partnering with leading UK universities in the research and development of the next generation of ophthalmic services and technologies. Purpose of Post
The Clinical Services Manager (CSM) will lead, direct and motivate the clinical team as well as support the Hospital Director in the day-to-day running, management and development of the hospital. As well as leading the team, the job holder will be required where possible, to participate within the team as required (up to 50% of the role), within the pre/post-op areas, consenting and discharging patients and in theatre if qualified to do so.
In addition, the job holder will be responsible for the planning of patient centred healthcare; using clinical decision making that is in-line with relevant regulatory body guidance and CQC outcome requirements, where appropriate ensuring there is an emphasis on excellence.
Person Specification
Education/Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (NMC)
- Teaching Qualification eg 998 or mentorship
- Band 7 or 8a Nursing level
- Laser Safety Certificate (preferred, not essential)
- Evidence of ongoing professional development
Experience
- Significant management experience in a hospital or ward
- Significant experience of effectively leading and managing a large team, including experience of employee relations issues
- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and National Minimum Standards.
- Experience of making CQC submissions for new hospitals and/or CQC inspections preferred
- Knowledge of policies and procedures in line with National Care Standards
- Recruitment, induction, development and management of staff
- Working within private healthcare
- Assessing, planning and evaluation of patient centred care using evidence based practice
