Both roles are to join a national care organisation and will be based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This is a purpose built care home designed for 75 residents – all nursing – over 3 floors. Each floor, or ‘house’, has a different speciality, e.g. dementia care, general nursing / palliative care and intermediate care. Company benefits include: 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, all training and development through Foundations for Growth and uniform paid for.
Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN) Opportunity - West Yorkshire
Salary up to £35,000 p.a.
This is a full-time position, working 38.5 hours per week. You will be working and managing the Dementia Unit, as well as overseeing the whole home.
Ideal candidate:
- Must be a qualified nurse either a RGN or RMN (with good clinical skills)
- Hold a valid NMC Pin Number
- Experience of working within a care / nursing home environment
- Experience of working within older people and dementia is essential for this position
- The successful applicant should be pro-active in their approach to care of the elderly, able to lead a team with training and supervision
Staff Nurse (RGN) Opportunity - West Yorkshire
Salary up to £34,320 p.a.
Full- and part-time hours are available for this role.
Ideal Candidate:
- Be a qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN)
- Must have a valid NMC Pin Number
- Experience of working with older people in a care / nursing home environment
- Must have a genuine interest of working within a caring environment and have previous experience caring for the elderly and dementia
- Experience of working with assessment and care planning is very desirable
