Dietitian (Adolescents Eating Disorder) Opportunity - Cheshire
Salary up to £29,546 p.a.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Dietitian to join our clients multidisciplinary team working within their adolescent eating disorder services. You will primarily be responsible for the nutritional assessment and treatment of all eating disorders patients. You will be responsible for clinically supervising a Dietetic Assistant and a Band 6 Dietitian who leads the dietetic service within the Adolescent Day Care Service.
Ideal candidate:
- A degree in dietetics or nutrition
- HPC registered
- Must have experience at Band 7 level or very experienced at Band 6
- Previous eating disorders experience is essential as is a flexible approach to work
- Experience in tube feeding would also be of benefit
- Must have excellent communication skills and will be an active member of an established, committed and energetic team, participating in the ongoing development of the service and clinical governance issues
- You may at times be required to assess adult general psychiatric patients identified as at risk of malnutrition or for other nutritional need
This is working 30 hours per week and in return you will receive an excellent salary of £23,637 - £29,546 (depending on experience), career developments and a benefits package.
