Flame Pharma are currently working with a growing dynamic and innovative Pharma company based within the North-East of the UK in recruiting for a Formulations Specialist. Our client require a Formulations Specialist to undertake formulation responsibilities of aseptic products, importantly this includes ophthalmic medicines. This is a new role based within our clients fast growing aseptic team.
Candidates would have:

• Experience of the formulation and manufacture of sterile medicines, including ophthalmics
• An understanding of drug interactions with packaging, specifically leachables and extractables
• An understanding of osmolarity and Ph. Buffering of ophthalmics is desirable
• An understanding of drug delivery devices
• Experience of working within a clean room/aseptic facility, adhering to GMP and stringent SOPs

This is a brand new role within a growing Pharma company which has grown exponentially since their inception in the early 2000’s and as such represents an excllent opportunity to join a company that is expanding.
