My Flame Health Monthly Update – April

The clocks have gone forward, the evenings are lighter for longer and Spring is in the air at last! It’s shaping up to be a successful season for the teams here at Flame Health.
Flame Vets have enjoyed a very productive March, with yet another new client providing us with more quality Veterinary vacancies. We are seeing a steady increase in the availability of Registered Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Surgeons who have solid UK experience. Candidates of this ilk continue to be of great interest to our clients, although Vets from Continental Europe with relevant experience are also coveted. We encourage Veterinary candidates and prospective clients to contact us today, to discuss the fantastic opportunities we currently have available.
Within Optical Sales we have seen plenty of activity from new candidates interested in some of our excellent vacancies; we still have some very enticing opportunities across this particular sector, and would like to hear from those from a practice-based environment, as well as those with proven selling experience outside of the optical industry. It has been encouraging to see some of our older clients coming back to us with superb vacancies, even though they may not have needed to recruit in recent years.
Flame Care have had an extremely busy March working with a major client and have successfully placed a number of fantastic candidates into new positions across the country to join this expanding organisation; we wish them all the best in their new roles! We are also looking at a number of new projects that this client has in the pipeline and are hoping to place the perfect candidates into these position within the next few months. We are looking for School Principals, Head Teachers and Residential Children’s Home Managers for a number of locations across the country. We also have a number of fantastic opportunities available within the Mental Health sector and are currently looking to recruit Ward Managers, Deputy Managers, Managers, Home Managers, Staff Nurses, Forensic Social Workers and Occupational Therapists, as well as nurses across rehabilitation sites.
Flame Health Cosmetic Surgery are back in business with placements made with a high-spec spa in central London, a Nurse for a popular healthcare company and a Theatre Nurse for a private hospital in Nottingham. New vacancies within the Pharmacy sector are starting to emerge, with interviews taking place in the North, and we are hoping for a boost in candidate numbers as we kick-start the graduate recruitment drive once again by attending the Pre-Registration Roadshow at the University of Nottingham of 9th April.
Flame Health Private Healthcare had a fantastic month in March, successfully placing an Orthodontic Therapist, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner as well as a GP Area Manager. We also had a Practice Sale completion in the South-East and would be keen to speak with anybody looking to buy or sell a dental practice anywhere in the UK. Flame Health Dentistry and Private Healthcare have acquired some exciting new vacancies this month, including : Dentists in Ipswich and Southampton, a Lead GP for West Yorkshire, and a GP with a view to partnership in South Yorkshire – contact us if you fit the bill!
March has been another successful month for the Flame Health Optometry team, with five placements made within our key accounts and two new vacancies taken with high-end, independent optical practices in the London area. As a result of a successful end to the quarter, team Optometry have been invited out for a meal with the rest of the company as a thank your for their hard work!
