National Shortage Of British Paramedics – Could You Do It?

imagesThe London Ambulance Service is looking overseas as far as Australia and New Zealand in the hope of filling around 250 vacant Paramedic posts.
Director of paramedic education and development, Mark Whitbread, has said: "Year on year increases in demand and a requirement to have more registered health care professionals responding to patients means we are in need of a greater number of paramedics."

We are currently recruiting ECA’s that will work alongside Medical Services own HCPC registered Paramedics and provide full training, career support and experience which could ultimately prepare you for a career as a Paramedic. This is a challenging role where you can develop your leadership qualities as well as clinical expertise and most importantly how to deal with critical situations, whilst remaining calm and providing medical support and intervention in the most testing of circumstances.
