Lead Optometrist Opportunity - Manchester
Flame Health Optometry are recruiting for an ambitious and self-motivated Lead Optometrist in the Hyde area of Manchester to join one of the leading optical groups, which has a proven track record in developing and providing excellent career paths for individuals through their recognized training and development channels.
Being the Lead Optometrist, your role will be wider than usual and have some extra responsibilities to include:

• Clinical lead with duties including direction of Optometry and Contact Lens professionals
• Handling of patients' concerns and complaints
• Strategic input and decision making as part of the management team
• General supervision of reception and dispensing staff to ensure efficient operating procedures
• Diary management including efficient set up and locum bookings
• Organizing and delivering staff training on clinical, commercial and operational issues
• Attendance at LOC meetings
• Liaising with local authorities to maintain compliance with NHS guidelines

You must be a qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC. In return you will receive a very competitive salary package.
