GPs Respond To Planned Contract Changes
The Department of Health's planned changes to GP contracts has had an overwhelmingly negative response from GPs surveyed.
- 9/10 said it would undermine their ability to offer good quality care
- 82% said they would have to make changes to working hours or employment
- 22% said they would have to make clinical staff redundancies
- 35% would have to make administrative staff redundancies
