New Practice Guidance for Social Care Managers
Flame Care are have recently discovered that The Care Council has launched a consultation on new practice guidance for social care managers in Wales.
The aim of the guidance, which is called The Social Care Manager, is to provide a practical tool to aid social care managers in their practice.
Clare Brazill, Divisional Partner at Flame Care says,
“This is positive news for the Care Industry. This new guidance will definitely help social care managers and the role that they play.”
The new guidance is for social care managers who have registered with the Care Council for Wales and work in residential childcare, adult care homes or domiciliary care. It aims to build on the Code of Practice for Social Care Workers and will provide the basis for developing more detailed practice guidance.
