Royal Pharmaceutical Society – Who Should Join & Who Should Decide?
The Pharmacists’ Defence Association (PDA) has said that Pharmacists should make individual decisions on whether they want to join the RPS.
John Murphy, general manager of the PDA stated that the RPS ought to be a professional body with people who have made a personal decision about whether they join or not. Employers signing pharmacists up whether they wanted to or not would be the wrong approach.
Flame Health are keen to hear from pharmacists. Are you undecided about joining the RPS, do you feel the RPS needs more time to develop and settle into its new role as an independent professional body ? Or have you decided to renew your membership with the view of being respected members, who are support professionally and educationally?
