Regarded by its peers as the most innovative, highly considered centre of excellence for quality and service within the stem cell banking sector. Processes in both the UK and Swiss facilities are licensed and accredited to the highest level and operate to GMP standards.

As a result of consistent growth, they are now looking for a Quality  Assurance Manager on a full time basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementation and maintenance of compliance across the company in line with HTA, MHRA, HFEA, AABB and ISO 9001 and ISO 15189 standards.
• Accountable for the continued development Quality Management System.
• Conduct internal audits against defined quality performance measures and standards and ensure that action points are followed up with appropriate managers.
• Host regulatory and customer site audits.
• Identification, investigation and monitoring of incidents and complaints which may affect safety and quality, ensure that effective follow-up actions are taken to deliver continual improvement in the services offered to our clients.
• Manage and prioritise workload for the quality assurance team.
• Provide training and guidance on regulatory compliance throughout the organisation.
• Degree in relevant scientific subject.
• Previous experience of working in the capacity of a Quality Assurance Manager.
• Practical knowledge of Quality Systems, relevant current guidelines and standards relevant to human tissue and good laboratory practice.
• A good understanding and use of audit methods.
