About the Company:

Dedicated to enhancing patients’ health and well-being through personalised pharmacy services, they are entering a phase of rapid expansion and are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Dispensary Manager with a proven track record in team building and development.

The Role:
As the Pharmacy Dispensary Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency. With patient communications managed by the customer care team, you and your dispensary team can focus on delivering top-notch service, ensuring timely and complete medication deliveries. In this role, you will work closely with in-house engineering and clinical teams to drive operational excellence. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate passionate about optimising patient outcomes, with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in pharmacy operations management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the dispensary team in collaboration with the Dispensary Team Lead.
  • Conduct probationary and performance reviews following company guidelines.
  • Provide structured training for new team members according to their individual training plans.
  • Monitor and achieve key operational KPIs, including On-Time In-Full (OTIF) service levels, cost-efficiency, patient safety, inventory loss, and margin performance.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of protocols for all dispensary roles in coordination with Clinical Leads.
  • Lead by Example: Actively participate in daily operations on the dispensary floor, maintaining high output and taking a hands-on approach to process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing operational teams.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to navigate high-pressure situations and effectively resolve conflicts.
  • NVQ2 Pharmacy qualification (NVQ3 level Pharmacy Technician preferred).
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement practices (e.g., Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
