A family-run independent opticians in Tamworth is looking to hire a full or part time Optometrist. The practice offers relaxed clinics and is known for its established patient base and well-qualified team. The role offers long-term progression opportunities and requires a commitment of 4 to 5 days a week.

About the Role:

  • Practice Type: Independent Group
  • Patient Base: Established mixed patien base
  • Team: Includes another experienced Optometrist, a fully qualified Dispensing Optician, and a support team
  • Clinic Style: Relaxed
  • Test Duration: 25-35 minutes
  • Progression: Long-term opportunities available
  • Salary: Dependent on experience
  • Equipment: Well equipped practice
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
  • Experience: Contact Lens experience preferred (in-house training available if required
Skills and Attributes:
  • Willingness to engage beyond the test room
  • Desire to help grow and develop the business
  • Ability to work as part of a friendly, close-knit team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Patient-focused and dynamic approach
