Flame Health recruitment are currently working on behalf of an independent Opticians based in The New Forest Area, South Hampshire, to hire a full time Optometrist.

This fantastic independent Opticians based on the coast of the beautiful New Forest National Park and require someone for 4 to 5 days a week.

About the Role:

• Family run practice
• Well established in the area – over 30 years
• Working in a beautiful grade 2 listed building
• 2 Testing rooms
• Working alongside another experienced Optometrist as well as a fully qualified Dispensing Optician and support team
• Trial frames and Phoropter
• Optinet Flex computer system
• Hospital grade equipment – Top of the range OCT, DNEye Scanner
• Relaxed clinics with 30-45 minute tests
• Long term progression opportunities

Optometrist – Requirements:

• Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
• 2 + years qualified
• Contact Lens experience – including complex RGP (in house training available if required)
• Hands on – Willing to get involved outside of the test room
• Wants to help develop and grow the business
• Wants to be a part of a friendly, close knit team
• Excellent communication skills
• Patient focused
• Dynamic
