Flame Health’s Optometry division have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Optical Practice Manager to join an innovative, award winning and growing independent company with branches across the UK. The company in question prides itself on delivering outstanding eye care and providing their patients with the best solutions to see the world clearly.

As a Deputy Manager you will be expected to help coach, mentor and develop the practice team, to be an ambassador for the company's vision and values and ensure that the client journey is being delivered consistently
You will currently work in Optical or have an optical background as a Dispensing Optician or Optical Assistant and be ready to take the next step in their career.

You will of course have excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to build strong relationships with your team members, peers, and clients.
As a senior member of the team you will be involved in providing regular feedback and review meetings and will also step up for the Practice Manager in their absence to ensure the practice runs smoothly and is well managed

Responsibilities:

• Help with Coaching and managing the practice and colleagues 
• Ensure that the practice is adhering and achieving to all operational standards 
• To help manage all aspects of practice rota’s ensuring that there is sufficient cover 
• Growing the business through excellent customer service skills 

You will have excellent communication and listening skills and have the ability to build relationships with your clients, peers and team members.  You will also have the ability to diagnose and solve problems, plan, prioritise workloads, share responsibilities accordingly and have excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
