Flame Care are currently looking to recruit a range of qualified Teachers for a leading Education & Care organisation who deliver services with positive outcomes for children and young people aged 5 to 25 who have experienced difficulties in their previous education placements. This will be to work within an independent co-educational, purpose built day school in Roehampton, South West London for young people aged 5 to 19 with mild to moderate autism, Asperger’s syndrome and associated learning difficulties.
We are currently looking for:
<< Primary School Teacher (Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and Associated Learning Difficulties) >>
As the Primary Classroom Teacher, you will teach pupils across Key Stage 1 and 2. You will plan, deliver and evaluate individual education programmes of in-patients in liaison with home schools/colleges, families and external agencies, which provide for the continuity of academic study.

This role requires a Maths Teacher with excellent subject knowledge, experience of teaching Maths and be familiar with national qualifications and exam boards. You will be experienced at taking the lead in your subject area, be able to deliver outstanding teaching and learning alongside a multi-disciplinary classroom team and have clear ideas of how to achieve exceptional progress for our pupils. As the Maths Teacher, you will teach secondary pupils across Key Stage 3 and 4.

This role requires a Science Teacher with sound subject knowledge, experience of teaching Science and be familiar with national qualifications and exam boards. You will be experienced at taking the lead in your subject area, be able to deliver outstanding teaching and learning alongside a multi-disciplinary classroom team and have clear ideas of how to achieve exceptional progress for our pupils. As the Science Teacher, you will teach secondary pupils across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Ideal candidate:
- A fully qualified teacher (QTS)
- You will have a background of teaching within a SEN environment
- You will have experience of working with students with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and Associated Learning Difficulties
- You will have extensive experience of curriculum planning
- A good understanding of the current legislation and statutory regulations relating to educational and care and a detailed knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Must have highly developed interpersonal and communications skills
Salary is negotiable depending on experience (plus Inner London Weighting).
