Salary up to £65,000!
Flame Care are currently working alongside a national provider who have a good reputation for delivering quality education and care services with positive outcomes for children and young people aged 5to 25, who have experienced difficulties in their previous education placements.
We are looking to recruit a Social Care Quality Improvement Lead based within the children’s and education sector.
The Quality Improvement Lead (Social care) is a key appointment to ensure all sites are rated as Good or better by regulators and offer the very best for children and young people. You will also be key in developing strong working relationships with colleagues in one of the UK’s leading providers of residential care placements and education for looked after young people that has recently been acquired by the organisation.
Duties:
- As a lead professional the Quality Improvement Lead will manage a team of two Social Care Advisers You will monitor, support and challenge care services so that they are of least good quality and have robust plans in place to improve further
- Give up to date, accurate and timely advice to operations teams on care and quality matters
- Respond to government and local initiatives, disseminate appropriately, lead and support their effective implementation
- Lead policy development and improvement initiatives across the region and division promote innovative practice throughout our services
Ideal candidate:
- You will have had a wide range of experience as a child care practitioner and manager
- Must hold a Management qualification within the Children’s sector
- Must have detailed knowledge of regulations and the expectations of Ofsted and CQC
- Experience of working within special education schools, colleges and children’s residential homes
- You will have demonstrated that you have successfully driven improvements in services
- You will be a confident trainer and can demonstrate resilience in challenging situations
- The role is home based but will require substantial travel and overnight stays
Competitive salary: up to £65,000 depending on experience, plus car allowance and private medical cover. Enhanced disclosure cost coverage and 25 days annual leave plus bank holiday's
