Flame Health Optical Sales are seeking a Retail Training Consultant in the North-East, on behalf of one of the leading providers of Ophthalmic Lens Technology. The role is ideally suited to an FBDO qualified Dispensing Optician, preferably with some sales experience.
It will be a role involving one of the company’s largest clients, so attention to detail, exemplary customer service and sound technical knowledge is a must.
Purpose of the Job:
· To deliver sales growth across defined territory in line with the company budget requirements
. To deliver lens training, education, sales and marketing support to a major UK optics retailer within a defined territory
. Responsibility for the planning, sales development and business support to selected number of retail stores in territory
. To deliver agreed training program across key target stores in territory across a wide audience including Optometrists
. Dispensing Opticians, Optical Consultants and develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders
. To liaise and communicate with key internal bodies including Marketing/Sales and customer service
. At all times maintain and uphold company values in all dealings with customers and colleagues

To demonstrate exceptional communication skills, retail sales skills and lens training skills to effectively engage, educate and influence key stakeholders which include Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians, Practice Managers and Optical Consultants.

Required Knowledge & Experience:
. Optical dispensing experience Optical retail sales experience Demonstrable optical training experience.
. Time Management and organisational skills.
. Good understanding of the UK Optical Market.
. Team Player.
. Adaptability.
. Drive and energy with self-starting attitude.
