My Flame Health Monthly Update – January

After a very busy first week back, the teams here at Flame Health are already getting stuck into 2015! We had a great December, finishing the year on a real high. Here are some updates from the last month of 2014, as well as plans for the first quarter of the new year…
December saw our first GP placement with a position in Essex, which is fantastic news and something we hope to see more of going forward into 2015. We have recently taken on some exciting new GP vacancies with a brand new client. They are looking for GPs and Practice Nurses in the North-East and Wigan areas, as well as Nurse Practitioners in Nottingham and Derbyshire. We have some excellent opportunities for GPs in Kent, Essex, South London, Coventry and Nuneaton, and a dual-site GP Practice Manager role to cover three sites in the Warwick and Stratford-Upon-Avon areas. It was a very positive end to the year within Optical Sales, with some great vacancies taken, significant placements made and a very important client meeting conducted in December. What has become clear is that there are very good companies out there looking for high calibre candidates, something which we pride ourselves in finding. December was the strongest month of the year for the Optometry team here at Flame Health. Placements were made across all of our major accounts and with independent businesses. In previous years, December has been a particularly quiet month, but 2014 bucked that trend; it was buoyant right up until the end! This is certainly a positive sign of things to come in 2015!
Flame Care are currently working with a brand new client in the recruitment of a Registered Children’s Home Manager for their first children’s home, catering for children with learning disabilities and autism based in Dorset. We are looking for a strong Manager to be a part of the start up of this home. We are also working on a number of exclusive Head Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher positions for a national client – if you could be interested, or you know of somebody who is, get in touch today as we do offer a great referral reward scheme! Flame Care are also working on a new Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner position in Yorkshire for a national client, which we have been given on the back of successfully placing a candidate into the same position five months ago.
The Care team are keen to speak to all qualified RGN’s and RMN’s looking for a new opportunity within a nursing home environment in 2015, as well as RMN’s looking for work within mental health hospitals throughout the country. A great end to the year was had in the Flame Health Dentistry team, with a huge amount of new opportunities gained! We are also looking for Hygienists in the Dorset and Wiltshire areas and Dental Practice Managers in Poole, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, so contact us today.
