Over A Quarter Of CVs Contain Inaccuracies
A new report by pre-employment screening company First Advantage has revealed that, of all verification checks made on CVs between January 2011 and June 2014, over a quarter contained inaccuracies.
The most inaccuracies were found were found in candidates' education history:
- Over a third of the education checks contained discrepancies relating to when, what subject and where a candidate studied
- 23.9% of all professional checks relating to qualifications, licenses and memberships revealed inaccuracies
- A quarter of checks uncovered inaccuracies in employment histories
