2014 has arrived, and the outlook is bright for Flame Health in the coming year…

We hope you all had a wonderful time over the Christmas and New Year period, we certainly did, but now it’s back to business as usual and there is no better time to look for a new opportunity. Flame Executive have taken on some fantastic new roles over the past month within medical devices, European sales and Key Accounts in the Pharma market and also with a developing pharmacy chain.
Flame Vets have also seen new roles become available on a nationwide basis, with a clear focus on finding Nurses and Vets who are looking to develop their career paths with a first-rate company. We attended the Royal Veterinary College Careers Fair on Wednesday 8th January to spread the word about our current opportunities; this was a great success for us and we really enjoyed meeting the students and staff!
Flame Health Pharmacy is developing into 2014 with excellent opportunities available in the South-East and Midlands areas.
On the GP side of the business, December saw continual growth with many new vacancies for locum and permanent GPs nationwide. We also have nurses and practice managers going through the interview process for permanent positions in January, with several brand new surgeries set to open soon and more vacancies coming through.
Flame Health Dentistry progressed to exchange with the sale of four dental practices, and it looks like a u-turn in CQC process could speed up this process considerably which is great news. We continue to have a number of permanent and locum opportunities available across the UK, and we have made notable dental placements in London and South Wales recently.
December has always been a challenging month within Optical recruitment, as was proved once again in 2013. However, despite this we managed to make some significant placements with an established independent, as well as with our key accounts. The level of activity in December was still encouraging, and some very important vacancies were taken as the year drew to a close. Firm plans are in place for the new year, with a number of interviews taking place within the first couple of working days in 2014, which bodes well for the coming months!
Flame Care have been very busy over the Christmas period, with new jobs being called in from our clients. From the great success that we had in 2013 we are currently working alongside a national client on a variety of positions ranging from School Principals and Head Teachers to Deputy Nurse Managers and Nurse Managers across the UK and across all divisions of their business. As a result, we are looking to speak to all qualified Nurses (RGN/RMN/RNLD), Deputy and Nurse Managers, Operations Managers, School Principals and Head Teachers.
