A Different Kind Of Eye Pod…
The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) took their sight loss simulator, called the 'Eye Pod', to the London headquarters of the General Optical Council (GOC) yesterday, as part of their on-going campaign to raise awareness of avoidable sight loss.
The 'Eye Pod' gives visitors a chance to see the world through the eyes of people suffering with glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy and AMD - four common sight conditions.
Did you know that almost half of all sight loss could be avoided? Regular eye checks are a vital tool in protecting your vision for the future!
