Christmas adverts starting to appear on the television and a nightly chorus of fireworks can mean only one thing – it’s the beginning of November!
For the teams here at Flame Health, October was another great month…
For the Flame Health Optometry team, October was a positive month, with continued success being seen with our key accounts, new independent practices and even within the ancillary side of the sector. We are also currently recruiting for some senior Professional Services vacancies within the UK optical market. The level of activity within the month has enabled us to positively forecast for the remainder of the calendar year and beyond, the ‘Indian Summer’ we all enjoyed in the early part of October seems to have done the trick! Flame Health Dentistry successfully placed an Orthodontist in London, and have secured independent clients currently looking for dentists near Edinburgh, a practice manager in West Yorkshire, associates in Norfolk and a private dentist in Hampshire. We have taken a large stride towards agreeing a contract for the acquisition of a large mixed practice in Yorkshire, and we are in the process of getting bank funding in place for a practice sale in Devon.
On the Private Healthcare side of the business, we have won several new contracts to provide permanent and locum GP's and ANP's across locations in the UK. We are especially keen to speak to Lead GP's in Kent and on the South coast at present; if this applies to you or somebody you know, contact us or pass our details on and we will be happy to have a confidential chat about our current opportunities.
Flame Care have had an extremely busy October with much success within the Children’s Education and Care sectors. We have placed some specialist positions within a national company, ranging from a Director of Autism for Education Services to a Registered Children’s Home Manager for a brand new provision. We have also had some great placements with another of our national clients within older people’s services, in the recruitment of a Residential Home Manager and a Peripatetic Home Manager. Both of these organisations are expanding in the new year and we are working with a number of other leading clients across the UK.
