Applicant Tracking Systems, thoughts please
The BBC recently conducted a survey of 20 of the world’s biggest organisations to see whether they utilise some form of electronic selection for recruitment.
It was found that no fewer than 18 used some form of this applicant tracking system due to more and more companies recruiting online.
Do you think this is a good thing? Or would you prefer your CV to be looked at by a person and not scanned by a machine?
Mr Payne from KPMG states that,
"Online application forms, which ask standard questions that can be scored objectively, is a much fairer way than a recruiter reading it."
