Loss of hearing? Don't be embarrassed
The team at Flame Health Hearing Care are shocked to find out that a large percentage of people who suffer from some degree of hearing loss may choose to ignore the situation and not seek out professional help.
A recent study by members of Action on Hearing Loss reveals that many people are not honest or open about their hearing loss. Fewer than 37% have chosen to tell their employer for fear of attracting negative attention.
Depending on your degree of hearing loss, you may need to wear a hearing aid to help boost you hearing back to a more normal level. However, if the thought of having to wear a large hearing aid is detracting you from seeking help for your condition, don’t worry, modern hearing aid technology will often mean using a tiny, discreetly hidden device that most people will hardly even notice.
