Researchers at The University of Leicester have shown for the first time that you can damage the coating of nerve cells by turning the volume up too high on headphone. Resulting in temporary deafness.
People may think that they already know this however, the University study is the first of its kind to show the underlying cell damage.
Turn those headphone down!
